So you got a letter or email from us?

Take a deep breath, this is not the end of the world...The reason you got a letter is because someone in your community thought your house might need some extra attention for the overall good of the neighborhood. We all want to live in the nicest community we can, right?

Nobody is trying to be mean; they just want you to think about how you could improve the overall look of your home and community. It could be something painless such as not parking your car in the front yard, or moving the broken bench off the porch. On the other hand, it could be a bit more in depth such as the quality of your paint job or the landscaping that is not there. There is a good chance you know why someone would send you a letter as a reminder...

In the long run, it is all for a good cause as once you are done eliminating the problem, there is a strong possibility that your home, the biggest investment of your life, will have gone up in value.

Why couldn't they have just talked to me in person? Good question, could be a variety of reasons such as they do not know you, you are new to the area, your dog bites, or the feel uncomfortable asking. Regardless of the reason, now you know, so the ball is in your court to do your part in making your community the best it can be.

We have all been there before, so take it with a grain of salt and maybe you will have some new friends in the end.

Why would you not want to your home look the best it could anyways?
